Fractal Launches Mainnet Bootstrap Initiative, Offering 1 Million FB Airdrop for UniSat and OKX Wallet Users
In Brief
As part of its preparation for the upcoming mainnet launch, Fractal has rolled out the Mainnet Bootstrap Initiative to reward active community participants with a generous airdrop of 1 million FB.

Bitcoin scaling solution Fractal Fractal launched the Mainnet Bootstrap Initiative as a way to acknowledge its most dedicated contributors, offering them 1 million FB, the project’s native token, ahead of going live on the mainnet.
This initiative is specifically aimed at recognizing users who have been actively engaging with the UniSat and OKX Wallet services on the Bitcoin mainnet. By providing these rewards, Fractal hopes to motivate early participants to keep contributing to and interacting with the ecosystem.
Users can now check their eligibility for participation directly through the Fractal website without needing to sign up or claim any tokens beforehand. If they qualify, FB will be automatically credited to their wallets, with distributions scheduled in batches following the mainnet launch. As that crucial date approaches, Fractal is also planning more community-focused events.
Fractal Gears Up for Mainnet Launch, Unveiling Tokenomics and a Governance Structure
The project, presently in development Fractal presents itself as a Bitcoin scaling solution that integrates Bitcoin Core’s code within a virtualized environment. This innovative model supports scalable and virtually limitless layers that sit atop the Bitcoin network. Unlike other systems that depend on independent sidechains, Fractal adopts a unique native scaling strategy that utilizes Bitcoin Core code to develop additional layers directly on the Bitcoin blockchain.
When Fractal officially initiates its mainnet, it will adopt the SHA256 Proof-of-Work (PoW) protocol, maintaining perfect compatibility with Bitcoin’s merged mining technique. This will allow miners to integrate easily while upholding Bitcoin’s entrenched security measures.
Fractal kicked off its beta testnet in June, giving a select group of builders and miners the chance to try out its features using testnet tokens.
Recently, it has announced plans to launch its mainnet on September 9th. This development includes the launch of BRC-20 tokens on the mainnet, set to go live at block 21,000, along with numerous updates. Additionally, they showcased their tokenomics, which incorporate a governance model allowing community voting, enabled by OP_CAT scripting features.
