The live event will offer a total of $60,000 in prizes, while a concurrent virtual event will have $40,000 to distribute.

The Verifiable AI Hackathon intends to showcase how the integration of TEEs with Flare's blockchain can address these constraints, laying the groundwork for decentralized, high-efficiency applications. Organized alongside Blockchain at Berkeley, the event anticipates attracting about 500 participants competing across four specialized categories: Social AI Agents, RAG Knowledge Systems, DeFAI (Decentralized Finance x AI), and Consensus Learning.

Participants will be able to leverage Google Cloud’s Confidential Computing services along with Flare’s protocols.
