The Eurovision champions, Kalush Orchestra, have sold their prestigious trophy for 500 ETH as a means to back the Ukrainian military efforts. 

The Eurovision-winning group Kalush Orchestra recently auctioned their iconic Glass Microphone trophy, fetching over $900,000 or 500 ETH. This generous amount will be directed to the Ukrainian army to bolster their defense against Russian aggression. Kalush Orchestra, renowned for their rap artistry in Ukraine, clinched victory at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest with their hit tune 'Stefania.'

The highest bid was submitted by Whitebit, a cryptocurrency exchange based in Estonia. Along with the trophy, Whitebit will also obtain a corresponding NFT. In a related auction, Oleg Psyuk, the band's frontman, also sold the distinctive pink bucket hat he donned during performances, raising an extra $370,000 to support the Ukrainian military.
