The producer behind 'Drive My Car' is gearing up to introduce a cutting-edge NFT marketplace.

Nekojarashi, the Japanese producer, has shared exciting news about the establishment of an NFT marketplace in collaboration with... Intertust to develop the platform.
Intertrust specializes in technologies that manage digital rights and will provide crucial support for the marketplace with their Token Rights Management solutions, ensuring the security of digital media applications for NFTs. Their framework is designed to guarantee superior user identification, risk oversight, and fraud prevention.

The new marketplace will be named 'Roadstead.' Here, users can explore, sell, and exchange NFTs, giving content creators full ownership and the ability to reap the financial benefits from their work.
Intertrust will safeguard artworks through their advanced Digital Rights Management technology, making duplication of NFTs extremely challenging.
What sets Roadstead apart from similar platforms is its unique feature that allows users to rent and lend NFTs. This marketplace will also concentrate on a wide array of content, including video, music, gaming, film, sports, anime, and manga. Additionally, 'Roadstead' will facilitate direct communication between creators and their supporters within the platform.
"Japanese content commands a significant presence globally. The enthusiasm of fans runs deep, with a strong appreciation for digital content of all types, making them ideal candidates for NFTs. However, many existing marketplaces fall short in providing key features that both consumers and rights holders require to safeguard their investments, such as fraud protection to maintain content integrity and brand value, which causes hesitation among prominent brand owners. With the backing of Intertrust’s TRM technology, our Roadstead marketplace addresses these issues by offering verified content in a secure environment, equipped with functionalities that extend far beyond mere transactions of NFTs,” stated Misaki Kawamura, CEO and Founder of Nekojarashi.
The launch of Roadstead is anticipated for this summer, though a specific date hasn't been disclosed by the firms involved.
