DIA's groundbreaking oracle solution, 'Lumina,' is set to change the way we think about rollup-based trust and function.

In Brief

DIA has recently launched its new oracle design, known as 'Lumina,' which addresses pressing problems in the decentralized data framework of Web3.

Open oracle network DIA With an imminent testnet launch, the innovative 'Lumina' architecture is set to resolve ongoing challenges in creating decentralized and trustworthy data frameworks in Web3 while redefining oracle standards and boosting the usability of DIA's native token.

According to Paul Claudius, the co-founder of DIA, \"This architecture represents a significant shift in how oracles function and serve users, addressing limitations that had been generally accepted in the sector. We are thrilled to unveil the realization of our foundational vision—genuinely decentralized and transparent oracles that integrate seamlessly with our numerous partners.\"

'Lumina' utilizes a modular design that enhances its oracle capabilities, enabling functions such as data sourcing, validation, storage, analysis, and distribution. Notably, all core oracle activities are processed on DIA's proprietary Layer 2 rollup, named 'Lasernet,' taking advantage of recent advancements in Ethereum's scalability solutions.

This modular design reevaluates trust dynamics throughout the entire data process. Through staking mechanisms, a network of decentralized nodes is incentivized to collect real-time trade data from over 100 different centralized and decentralized exchanges, securing their input with DIA's native token.

Meanwhile, zero-knowledge The components included in the framework will ensure the validation of both raw data and the actions taken. Price storage across various nodes and the final pricing computations occur on 'Lasernet,' which offers a transparent, tamper-proof, and scalable on-chain processing layer. A decentralized messaging protocol further streams the essential data to respective blockchains.

The rollout of DIA Lumina will occur in stages, beginning with the Lasernet testnet launch alongside an initial staking initiative. The subsequent phase will see the introduction of a restricted Lasernet mainnet and live staking opportunities. The final stage will open the mainnet to the public, promoting broader access to the network.

DIA: What Is It?

This decentralized oracle network supplies data feeds that cater to a variety of assets, including tokens, LSTs, and random numbers, spanning multiple blockchains. The network operates openly and without permission, inviting various nodes and stakers to participate in distributing data secured by both economic incentives and cryptographic protocols. DIA's 'Lasernet' conducts essential oracle functionalities, ensuring computations are done without trust and remain completely verifiable. RWA DIA has positioned itself as a distinguished and adaptable cross-chain oracle, connecting with over 50 Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchains while delivering data to upwards of 200 decentralized applications (dApps). The focus remains on providing tailored data feeds that encompass a wide array of on-chain and off-chain inputs.

"Lumina encapsulates four years of innovation in Web3 infrastructure concentrated into a single product,\" Zygis Marazas, DIA's Head of Product, stated. \"It establishes the groundwork for our vision of an authentically decentralized and trustless oracle network that enhances security and trust while maintaining the adaptability to facilitate any application,\" he emphasized.
