Backpack Crypto Exchange Implements Support For Keystone Hardware Wallet

Backpack, the crypto exchange, has just announced its integration with the Keystone hardware wallet, which provides a safe way for users to move cryptocurrencies and NFTs into a secure, offline environment.

An exchange built on the Solana framework, Backpack Exchange has now integrated with the Keystone hardware wallet. This advancement enables users to safely store their cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) within cold storage.

Keystone, previously identified as Cobo Vault, is a specialized cold storage hardware wallet developed to protect cryptocurrency holdings offline, equipped with robust security features to counteract both software and hardware vulnerabilities. Its main characteristics include advanced safeguards for both the device and data, sophisticated recovery options, support for multi-signature setups that involve several approvers, and various additional security enhancements.

To connect the Keystone wallet with Backpack, users ought to access the Settings section, select 'Add Account,' and then choose the 'Import Wallet' option, picking the appropriate network. Following this, they should hit 'Use a hardware wallet' and select 'Utilize a Keystone wallet.' After completing these steps, they’ll need to follow the instructions displayed on the Keystone device, scan the QR code shown on the Keystone, and continue with the wallet setup as indicated.

Keystone Presents Perks For Mad Lad NFT Owners

In celebration of this integration, Keystone is offering holders of Mad Lads a generous 50% discount on custom-designed hardware wallets.

Mad Lads features a collection of 10,000 NFTs created on the Solana blockchain. Each Mad Lad acts as a tokenized asset, granting holders the ability to stake gold coins using a soulbound or non-transferable inventory system.

Founded in 2023, Backpack Exchange Backpack includes robust security elements like zero-knowledge proof of reserves, Multi-Party Computation (MPC), and rapid order execution to protect assets and enhance trading efficiency. It also offers a non-custodial wallet for cryptocurrencies focused on Solana and Ethereum, aptly named Backpack Wallet.

Recently, it has undergone an update which included enhancements to the user interface and broader user experience.
