As the first EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain utilizing the Cosmos SDK, Cronos has initiated a second accelerator that focuses on Web3 developments. accelerator .
This initiative is set to promote the growth of decentralized applications, targeting teams working on various sectors, including GameFi, DeFi, SocialFi, and fundamental infrastructure.
The program is primarily tailored for pre-seed and seed-stage startups, and having working prototypes or Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) will certainly strengthen your application within the Cronos ecosystem.

Kicking off on April 24, this three-month accelerator will be conducted remotely and will cover essential areas such as Legal, Technical, Tokenomics, Commercial aspects, Marketing, and Fundraising. A selected group of six to eight teams will gain access to Cronos’s seasoned experts along with marketing and PR support, strategic guidance, auditing assistance, and invaluable introductions to the Crypto.com Capital team, all while networking with top-tier crypto venture capital firms. Remarkably, participants will receive an immediate funding boost of $30,000 to aid in their business development. At the culmination of the program, founders will have the opportunity to showcase their projects to potential strategic partners, DAOs, investors, and angel investors during a Demo Day scheduled for July 10. Moreover, teams can also tap into the possibility of raising up to $300,000 from Cronos Labs’ substantial $100 million ecosystem fund. In exchange for the funding support, Cronos will receive a modest 1.5% of the future token and/or equity tranche. The organization may also opt to participate in subsequent funding rounds at a favorable rate.

Interested teams can submit their applications for the accelerator until March 26. Competition is bound to be fierce, given that over 300 startups have already expressed their interest. On April 17, Cronos will announce which projects have been selected.
