Cozomo de Medici Delivers 22 NFT Art Pieces to LACMA

Cozomo de Medici, the anonymous NFT art collector, has made a notable donation of 22 artworks to LACMA.

The collection includes contributions from prominent artists, such as Matt Hall and John Watkinson from Larva Labs, along with Yam Karkai from World of Women, and various other celebrated NFT artists.

Cozomo de Medici, an anonymous figure in the NFT art realm, has donated 22 pieces to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The collection spans artworks created between 2017 and 2022, and it stands as the largest digital art collection received by LACMA to date. This diverse collection encompasses a variety of mixed media forms, including video, generative art, sculptures, photography, 3D works, AI compositions, and even a book.

Cozomo de Medici has chosen a group of thirteen artists, all well-respected in the NFT community. This roster includes names like Pindar Van Arman, Justin Aversano, Dmitri Cherniak, Matt DesLauriers, Mark Graeffe, Cai Guo-Qiang, Han, Kelian Maissen and Johannes Gees, Monica Rizzolli, Claire Silver, Neil Strauss, Adam Swaab, and both Yam Karkai from World of Women and Matt Hall and John Watkinson, known for their work on CryptoPunks.

LACMA has a history with NFTs, having previously accepted digital art donations from creators like John Gerrard and collector Tom Sachs. Back in June 2022, LACMA launched a fund specifically aimed at supporting women in digital arts.
