Cool Cats has recently attracted investment from Animoca Brands.
The well-known NFT collection, Cool Cats, has secured a key investment from Animoca Brands aimed at developing a Metaverse experience and boosting the global growth of the project.
Based in Hong Kong, Animoca Brands is a major player in gaming and Metaverse innovation, focused on expanding digital ownership rights through NFTs while working towards a more open Metaverse. Yat Siu, one of the co-founders and the Executive Chairman, expressed... say about the collaboration:

Ken Cron, the Executive Chairman of Cool Cats Group, who has nurtured a strong relationship with Yat Siu, is enthusiastic about this partnership. He stated, \"Working closely with Animoca Brands will unlock tremendous advantages for Cool Cats and our community. Our new CEO, Stephen Teglas, and the entire Cool Cats crew are eager to kick-start this journey.\"
The original Cool Cats collection, comprising 9,999 unique profile picture-style NFTs, was launched in July 2021. This project has consistently gained traction with each major announcement, amassing a trading volume of 113K ETH.
Following the announcement from Animoca Brands, the average sale price surged from 2.5 ETH to 3.6 ETH, with sales numbers skyrocketing from eight on October 5 to 52 by the next day. As of now, the floor price for the Cool Cats collection stands at 3.29 ETH (around $4,494 at the current exchange rate).
It's important to note that this isn't the first collaboration between the two companies—back in June, Cool Cats engaged with Animoca Brands announced to develop unique pixelated 3D avatars for The Sandbox Metaverse owned by Animoca. In September, Cool Cats also partnered partnered with GAMEE, a gaming subsidiary of Animoca, to launch a Hexa-numbered tile game titled \"Cool Cats Combinations\" on the Arc8 gaming platform.
