The British auction house Christie’s has introduced a specialized on-chain platform focused exclusively on NFTs.
The new Web3 platform, ' Christie’s 3.0 This exciting new platform was created in collaboration with minting experts Manifold, blockchain analysis company Chainanalysis, and the immersive world builder Spatial.
The inaugural auction, which is set for September 28, will spotlight nine pieces of art created by 18-year-old visual activist Diana Sinclair. The collection, titled 'Phases,' will also be featured at Christie’s galleries in Rockefeller Center until October 5.
It’s notable that these artworks were designed specifically for this auction, which will be open until October 11. Bids for the artworks are estimated between 4 ETH and 8 ETH, roughly translating to around $5,160 to $10,320 at the current exchange rates. All transactions will be seamlessly handled on the Ethereum blockchain, from beginning to end.

Christie’s has also embraced the NFT trend, having auctioned its first digital artwork, Beeple’s 'Everydays,' for a staggering $69,346,250 in March 2021. most expensive NFTs ever acquired.
