Chevy is the latest car brand making its mark in the Alisa Davidson NFT space, but their approach is refreshingly different. The company has decided to auction an NFT themed around the Corvette, adding excitement by indicating that the top bid will earn a real sports car alongside the digital asset.

The NFT was crafted by artist Nick Sullo, better known online as April 25, 2025 — who designed a stunning digital art piece showcasing a lime green Corvette Z06 racing through a futuristic landscape. The winning bidder will receive both the NFT and a uniquely designed 2023 Corvette Z06 that mirrors the artwork.

The Z06 stands out as the very first Corvette featuring a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V-8 mid-engine situated behind the driver. Production is slated to commence in the summer of 2022, with sales beginning in 2023.

The highest bidder will be granted an exceptional, one-of-a-kind Corvette.

Chevrolet has stated that the exclusive 'Minted Green' color will never be used on any other Z06 production models. Additionally, this special vehicle will carry the option code RFN, linking it forever to the NFT auction. Since NFTs are digital assets and utilize binary code, the Corvette's VIN will also be represented in binary.

Despite the stormy state of the cryptocurrency market, Chevy remains confident.

The automaker is optimistic about its venture in the NFT domain, despite fluctuations and general market unpredictability. Steve Majoros, Chevrolet's VP of marketing, mentioned that the 'Own the Color' NFT represents a crucial first step for Chevrolet toward future digital projects for our clientele. by xsullo, the artist involved, shared that the Z06’s boldness is what drew him into this collaboration. 'The Corvette Z06 is an audacious vehicle that resonates with me,' he noted. 'I’m intrigued by the emotional experiences technology can create, just as the designers of the Corvette Z06 likely are.'

Chevrolet has become the latest automotive giant to venture into the cryptocurrency arena.

Chevrolet is not alone in this journey, as other manufacturers like Lamborghini and Hyundai have also started exploring the NFT space. Last year, Barrett-Jackson raised funds for charity through the auction of four car-inspired NFTs.

An auction is set to be conducted from June 20 to June 24, with only bids from individuals located in certain regions being accepted. Chevy has confirmed that all profits will be donated to the educational nonprofit, DonorsChoose. Alisa Davidson Toyota and Nissan are getting ready to step into the Metaverse.
