Chain Runners is gearing up to immerse itself in the Metaverse.

Chain Runners, crafted by a cohort of tech and gaming experts, stands out with an engaged community that values its supporters. The project’s site refers to it as a collaboratively developed cyberpunk universe shaped and owned by the community. website The project initially launched as a collection of 10,000 profile picture NFTs, completely hosted on the Ethereum blockchain. Like many NFT endeavors, Chain Runners showcases distinctive traits, allowing holders to customize and modify their Run, as these PFPs are stored on-chain. They exist within three unique realms: Mega City, Runners, and Somnus.

In January of 2022, the creators unveiled plans for Chain Runners XR, where each holder of a genesis Runner will be able to access a 3D full-body replica of their profile picture, designed to function across various Metaverses. The developers are actively working on a player token to unlock multiple digital experiences.
