Binance Labs , the funding arm of Binance , has invested $3.15 million in Open Campus , a community-oriented Web3 education platform enabling the tokenization of educational content and empowering content creators to monetize their published works.

The investment primarily seeks to draw new users into the Web3 ecosystem while motivating native users to participate in educational initiatives through Publisher NFTs.

Designed to boost the earning capabilities of content creators, Open Campus's Publisher NFTs facilitate revenue sharing among co-owners. The earnings generated are secured in smart contracts, allowing co-owners to withdraw their shares based on their contributions.

Publisher NFTs distributed by Open Campus users are available for buying and selling in the Marketplace without restrictions.

The Rise of Educational Content Tokenization

Open Campus features Smart Donations, a capability that backs grants and scholarships utilizing its native token, $EDU, releasing funds contingent upon verifiable on-chain events.

Recently, Open Campus launched a $10 million incentive initiative to motivate eligible educators to contribute content. This initiative tokenizes courses as Publisher NFTs, granting educators ownership and cultivating a dynamic educational ecosystem that rewards their contributions.
