What Is Beacon?
This program serves as an early-stage accelerator for Web3, aimed at nurturing budding startups. Founded by Sandeep Nailwal, who is also a co-founder of Polygon and Symbolic Capital, the initiative provides funding, mentorship, and necessary resources to startups addressing real-world challenges. The program is held twice yearly, with each cycle lasting twelve weeks.
This announcement comes on the heels of the successful graduation of Beacon's S23 cohort, which included 10 companies, several of which have progressed significantly post-selection. Among the notable alumni from S23 is a scalable data availability layer 0G and the oracle protocol ORA, both of which have reached unicorn status since graduating.
