Animoca Brands’ This Animoca Brands subsidiary has accumulated 138.9 ETH from its initial educational NFT offerings. NFTs The six instructors, behind the six TinyTap Publisher NFTs, collectively earned 67.7 ETH (approximately $106,995 at the time of reporting) for their course contributions.
TinyTap operates as an open education platform that utilizes blockchain, boasting a diverse library of 200,000 educational games aimed at enhancing children's learning experiences. The platform supports over 100,000 educators and has attracted more than 8 million registered families. Kids aged 2 to 8 can explore subjects such as math, language arts, reading, science, and social skills through interactive gameplay.
The mission of this educational platform is to 'decentralize education by linking teachers and families worldwide, empowering them to meet their learning requirements independently of governmental and corporate influences.'
TinyTap's vision aligns closely with Animoca Brands' mission to 'promote digital property rights via NFTs and gaming, while fostering the development of an open metaverse.'
The TinyCourses Publisher NFTs serve to bolster education within the Web3 ecosystem. NFT holders are granted co-publishing rights for their respective TinyTap courses and can earn as much as 80% from future course engagement through successful promotion and marketing. Each NFT is uniquely associated with an individual teacher (creator), enabling both NFT holders and content creators to benefit from their collaborative publishing ventures.

According to Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, these NFTs were launched with the intent of enhancing teachers’ revenues and alleviating the promotional costs and time burdens that typically accompany course marketing. said 'This innovative application of NFTs empowers TinyTap’s educators to decide if they want to maintain their traditional business model, or fully embrace Web3 technology to concentrate on their core strengths—creating exceptional content, all while supported by a co-publisher,' he stated.
Previously, the NFTs generated 22.9 ETH (approximately $37,600 at the time of sale). Course creators receive half of the revenue from their respective NFT auctions, along with ongoing royalties from secondary sales, and are entitled to 10% of the income generated by their courses.

The most expensive NFT was Learn English with Gabi 'For over three decades, I've passionately taught ESL. I believed that finding TinyTap’s interactive game platform was my greatest teaching accomplishment; however, now I recognize that the Publisher NFT represents my true breakthrough. I'm thrilled that my English courses can now reach thousands of children globally, and I'm eager to engage with a new generation of learners! I predict this initiative will be significantly beneficial for me financially,' said Gabi Claf, an elementary school educator based in Israel.
The University of Pennsylvania is set to roll out a Metaverse course starting this Fall.
