Previously, in October, the developers behind Azuki made the first announcement regarding this innovation. Physical Backed Token This new feature links tangible items with digital tokens on the Ethereum blockchain, allowing owners of physical products to prove and transfer their ownership online. The Physical Backed Token standard is open-source, meaning anyone can utilize it.

In November, Azuki dropped a clothing collection In collaboration with the renowned Japanese streetwear label Ambush, this 'phygital' collection features stunning silver and gold dragon pendants along with 1,000 hoodies enhanced with PBT technology.

From December 5 onward, individuals who own an Azuki x Ambush hoodie will be able to integrate these items into their collectible profiles. To facilitate this, they simply need to scan the Bean chip embedded within the hoodies with their smartphones.

The excitement doesn't end there; Azuki has also rolled out several rarity levels for the hoodies: common, rare, epic, and legendary. To uncover which tier their hoodies belong to, owners must scan the Bean chip.

Moreover, owners of the hoodie are given the chance to stylize their Azuki characters using the digital representation of their actual fashion pieces.

Currently, the lowest price for an Azuki NFT stands at 11.79 ETH (approximately $14,725), with a total trading volume of 269.684 ETH recorded.
