ASUS unveils a new Metaverse initiative alongside an exclusive NFT marketplace.

Major tech firms are actively pursuing opportunities in the Metaverse. This week, ASUS, a prominent laptop manufacturer from Taiwan, shared several updates regarding its Metaverse-related ventures.
Initially, ASUS has launched a new Web3 division called 'ASUS Metaverse Co., Ltd.' The firm is aiming to expand its expertise in blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, and cloud services.
Additionally, the brand is set to unveil a cross-border NFT platform based on Ethereum, referred to as 'Art Black Hole.' Currently, this platform is available for a select group of creators, and it appears that ASUS is gearing up for a public release. However, secondary trading is not supported just yet. Art Black hole 'We recognize the transformative potential of the new generation industry, especially the capabilities offered by Web3,' stated Xie Mingjie, ASUS's Chief Operating Officer and Global Senior Vice President. 'That’s why we've established a new entity to ensure a long-term commitment to the Metaverse. Our first initiative is to launch an NFT platform and engage content creators across various domains as our new partners.'
Numerous tech enterprises and hardware manufacturers are venturing into the Metaverse, with ASUS being part of a larger trend of brands exploring the advantages of Web3.

In a recent development, South Korea's tech giant Samsung has introduced the 'Samsung Experience' in Decentraland, allowing users to interact with Samsung products and engage in mini-games. Notably, in August, the company made further announcements.
Meanwhile, Japan's Sony recently launched a Spatial Reality Display together with an NFT collection via Theta Drops. Additionally, in September, the company filed for Metaverse and NFT-related trademarks concerning its American music division, Sony Music Entertainment.
