Japanese sports brand ASICS has announced a collaboration working with Solana, this exclusive ASICS X SOLANA UI (user interface) Collection is crafted to motivate Web3 enthusiasts to maintain a healthy balance between their online and offline activities.
The collection showcases a fresh selection of custom-designed, limited-edition GT-2000 11 running shoes. Alongside Solana, ASICS is collaborating with the STEPN app to offer customers a chance to earn an exclusive ASICS x STEPN GT-2000 NFT. These sneakers are crafted to empower the Web3 community to stay active and engaged physically.
The pre-order period for these shoes kicks off today, November 4, and runs until November 8, with a price tag of $200 USDC (shipping included). Payments are to be made exclusively using Solana Pay, and buyers can choose between two styles: a sleek white (for 'light mode') and a bold black (for 'dark mode'). These color choices are inspired by the themes of digital interfaces.
You can grab the ASICS X SOLANA UI Collection for purchase on ui.asics.com . After making a purchase, customers will receive an ASICS Badge NFT, a digital collectible unlocking unique experiences and rewards from ASICS.
The choice of Solana blockchain by the Japanese brand is based on its high-speed and scalable network, along with minimal transaction fees.

Founded in 2021, STEPN is a move-to-earn application running on Solana that rewards users with tokens for engaging in walking or running activities. As part of their partnership with ASICS, STEPN will incentivize holders of the GT-2000 NFT by providing in-game tokens that can be used to unlock new features and mint additional pairs of shoes.
