Merging sophisticated display capabilities, robust processing power, and intuitive user interfaces, it crafts experiences that blend the physical and digital realms seamlessly.

"Today signifies the dawn of a new epoch in technology. Similar to how the Mac revolutionized personal computing and the iPhone evolved mobile computing, the Apple Vision Pro heralds the era of spatial computing. Drawing on decades of Apple innovation, this headset is a few steps ahead and completely unique in its class—with an unprecedented input system and thousands of pioneering advancements. It opens up remarkable vistas for users and invigorating possibilities for developers,\"

said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO.

Apple Vision Pro functions on visionOS, a novel operating system that lets users navigate applications and content seamlessly in their environment. Whether it’s enjoying a film on a virtual screen, engaging in graphically rich gaming adventures, or working collaboratively with others.

The Vision Pro fuses augmented and virtual reality to immerse users in rich, interactive environments that can be navigated through gestures, gaze, and voice within a vibrant 3D space.

This headset redefines the entertainment landscape, delivering a cinematic experience akin to watching a screen that's 100 feet wide, complemented by an advanced spatial audio system. Users can enjoy movies and series from Apple TV+ and various streaming platforms or delve into three-dimensional films through Apple Immersive Video.

In contrast to most headsets, the Vision Pro is equipped with a real-world display that reveals the user's eyes to those around them. When the user enters a completely virtual mode, the external display deactivates. This setting allows for a distraction-free simulated reality. Additionally, if someone approaches the user during this mode, the headset facilitates a virtual interaction between them, letting each person see the other on their displays.

The price of the Vision Pro stands at $3,499, significantly surpassing the cost of Meta's priciest headset, the leading player in the AR/VR sector, by over threefold. This device will launch in the U.S. in early 2024, with worldwide availability anticipated later that year.
