Web3 god game Apeiron, developed by blockchain gaming studio Foonie Magus, announced the launch of Apeiron Guild Wars 2024, with a $1 million prize pool, marking it as its largest tournament to date. This tournament, serving as Apeiron’s first official Guild Wars event, is intended to be held annually in the future.
The Apeiron Guild Wars 2024 will commence with online preliminaries running from May 21st to June 25th, leading up to a final in-person event in which guilds will vie for tournament slots on a dedicated Guild Player versus Player (PvP) online leaderboard. The Guild Leaderboard will be active from May 21st to July 2nd, with the SEA Invitational set for July 11th to July 14th and the NA Invitational scheduled for July 18th to July 21st.
After the conclusion of the Invitational, the top 12 guilds from each region, based on their performance, will receive invitations to participate in the Apeiron Guild Wars 2024. These participants will further compete for positions in the semifinals and finals, which are scheduled to take place in Hong Kong during Q3 2024. Players will demonstrate their God-battling skills through a double-elimination bracket tournament format. The top four seeded guilds will earn a first-round bye, progressing directly to the finals.
Subsequently, the $1 million prize pool will be distributed among the tournament winners, with $500,000 in cash prizes and an additional $500,000 worth of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) allocated to the top-performing Apeiron guild competitors. Participation is open to the entire Web3 community as well as established guilds.

Apeiron Guild Wars 2024 To Be Broadcasted On Twitch With Community Watch Events In Discord
Apeiron is a multiplayer online battle arena game that combines elements of god games, roguelites, and battle arenas. The game operates on an NFT-based model. While still under development, its prototype has already attracted interest from investors such as Hashed, IVC, Morningstar Ventures, Spartan Group, and DeFiance. The project has secured a total of $24 million in funding thus far.
Apeiron is currently accessible in open beta through both the Epic Games Store and Mavis Hub platforms, with a full game release anticipated later in the year. The matches for Apeiron Guild Wars 2024 will be broadcasted live on the official Apeiron Twitch channel, accompanied by community watch parties in the Aperion Discord server.
