This is the inaugural Guild Wars tournament for Apeiron, and plans are in place for it to become an annual highlight.
The journey for the Apeiron Guild Wars 2024 starts with online preliminaries scheduled from May 21 to June 25. Guilds will compete for slots on a dedicated Player versus Player (PvP) leaderboard, available until July 2. The SEA Invitational will take place from July 11 to 14, followed by the NA Invitational from July 18 to 21.
Once the Invitations conclude, the top twelve guilds from each region, determined by their performance, will secure their spots in the Apeiron Guild Wars 2024. These select teams will battle for a place in the semifinals and final rounds, to be held in Hong Kong in the third quarter of 2024, showcasing their divine combat skills in a double-elimination format. The four top-seeded guilds will benefit from a bye in the first round, advancing straight to the finals.
The grand prize of $1 million will be divided among the victors of the tournament, with $500,000 set aside for cash rewards and another $500,000 earmarked for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) awarded to the leading Apeiron guilds.
