AI-powered web3 developer platform Airstack Airstack managed to secure $7 million during a pre-seed funding round, steered by Superscrypt, a budding web3 company linked to Singapore’s state investment firm, Temasek.
Airstack caters to Web3 developers with its unique data APIs, designed around an AI engine that simplifies the retrieval of cross-chain data from various blockchains and projects using everyday language. For example, users can type in straightforward requests such as 'display all members of OrangeDAO on Polygon, including their ENS and web3 social accounts.' The system then produces an API that developers can seamlessly integrate into any web2 or web3 application without needing to build new infrastructure.
Jason Goldberg, the CEO of Airstack, revealed that the platform made its debut last month at ETH Tokyo and has already attracted over 200 developers eager to build on it. Projects utilizing Airstack span a wide range, including marketing solutions, CRM applications, advertising platforms, DeFi portfolio enhancers, decentralized social networks, messaging services, and token-gated community access solutions.
In a groundbreaking development, this platform now allows developers to simultaneously request and amalgamate data across major web3 identity and social systems, involving ENS Domains, Lens Protocol, Farcaster, and an array of NFT initiatives on both Ethereum and Polygon.
In conjunction with their funding announcement, AirStack has refreshed its unique social application, Jam, crafted on the Farcaster web3 social framework. Available on both iOS and Android, Jam features a user interface reminiscent of Twitter. Notable personalities in the web3 space can be found on Jam, including Vitalik Buterin, Varun Srinivasan (co-founder of Farcaster and former director at Coinbase), and Jesse Pollak, who leads Protocols at Coinbase.
Meta has unveiled AI-enhanced advertising tools, including AI Sandbox and Meta Advantage, to improve the efficiency of their ad services.
