For over ten years, Adobe has been dedicated to enhancing artificial intelligence, embedding a multitude of AI-driven features across its software through Adobe Sensei. This includes capabilities like Neural Filters in Photoshop, Content Aware Fill in After Effects, Attribution AI in the Adobe Experience Platform, and Liquid Mode in Acrobat.

As outlined in a recent press statement, Adobe is dedicated to developing and implementing these advanced technologies in alignment with its ethical principles surrounding AI, which prioritize accountability, transparency, and responsibility.

With Firefly, content creators can express their ideas in natural language prompts, producing a wide array of outputs including images, audio, vectors, videos, and 3D models, as well as unique creative elements like brushes, color gradients, and video transitions.

By leveraging numerous large language models (LLMs), such as ChatGPT via Microsoft Azure's OpenAI Service and FLAN-T5, Sensei GenAI’s features encompass:

  • Copywriting Automation: Quickly generate diverse message variations for touchpoints such as email and mobile notifications, allowing for effortless editing and rewording by selecting desired tones and keywords.
  • Target Audience and Customer Journey Design: Build detailed audience segments for precision in personalization campaigns, utilizing templates for brainstorming and testing various engagement journeys using casual language.
  • Headline Generation: Produce textual descriptions highlighting vital insights from visualizations such as cohort tables and fallback charts.

According to Adobe, leading global brands, including PGA TOUR, are currently pilot-testing these new functionalities. The company also plans to make the Firefly API accessible, enabling customers to seamlessly integrate this feature into their custom projects. workflows and automation .
