Bored Ape #2758 is in the hands of Rzubi.eth. According to sources, this BAYC enthusiast serves as an Executive Producer at Pirexia Films, a Mexican production company collaborating with a renowned Hollywood studio on this venture. Bored Ape Gazette ‘BAYC #2758 just clinched a movie deal with Pirexia Films, from director JM Cravioto, known for his work on El Chapo for Netflix. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks! This will mark the first NFT actor featured in a Mexican film and it will earn a salary comparable to that of a Screen Actors Guild member.’
In this film, the Bored Ape will portray a well-known social media influencer named 'Scully Joe,' celebrated for throwing vibrant parties. Rzubi mentions that a key scene unfolds during one of these festivities. tweeted the NFT owner.
Notably, the BAYC token will be regarded as a genuine actor in this project. It will receive compensation akin to that of a member of the Screen Actors Guild and will even be credited as an actor in the film. Moreover, the Ape will attend the premiere as a digital actor and will engage with the press.
The film is currently under production, with an expected release date set for January of the following year.
This isn’t the first occasion a BAYC NFT has stepped into the limelight as an ‘actor.’ Back in June 2022, the renowned musicians Eminem and Snoop Dogg incorporated ape imagery in their music video for 'From The D 2 The LBC.' Prior to this, both Snoop Dogg and rapper Wiz Khalifa released several tracks that centered around BAYC and its native currency, ApeCoin.
